The Hampshire FA are running a referees course on the Isle of Wight this month and are inviting potential participants to come forward and sign up.
The course is a fresh and pioneering new approach to the training of new referees, with it being primarily focused on the practical training and learning of the skills required to referee a 9 v 9 or
11 v 11 football match.
The learning of the practical elements of refereeing are facilitated on the course by FA Referee Tutors, with the candidate taking a greater responsibility to learn the Laws of the Game through distance learning prior to, during and after the practical sessions of the course.
Upon signing up for the course, participants will be sent a pre-course pack which will require completion and return to Hampshire FA.
