IN PICTURES: The Future has finally arrived as Bestival 2016 gets underway with up to 55,000 people packing out Robin Hill Country Park for what is set to be a fun-filled, futuristic weekend with the likes of The Cure, Major Lazer, Wiz Phalifa and Sean Paul all taking to the main stage.
Once again the sun has been shining down on the Island with Indian Summer conditions as the campsites fill up with thousands of tents for as far as the eye can see, with even more revellers expected to arrive tomorrow (Friday).
The recent pleasant weather has dried the site out just perfectly, although some rain is forecast for Saturday.
As the sun sets across Downend, the party is well and truly getting underway…
