FC BAYERN BRU SAY FAREWELL TO A CLUB LEGEND


fcbayernbruIt has been confirmed today (Friday) that FC Bayern Bru football club’s Captain, Scott Mussell, is to retire from competitive football.

Scott joined the club at its inception in 2013 and went on to enjoy great success winning the Leisure Leagues Division 1 Title in their inaugural season before adding the 2015 Player of the Season Award two years later.

Demonstrating a strong leadership quality at the heart of defence from day one, he will be sorely missed for the forthcoming new season which starts this Sunday.

The Club have named James Crofts, who only joined them this summer, as their new Captain.

Manager Stuart Brown said:

“Scott has been a great player for us irreplaceable at times and will be sorely missed by all, looking to the future we are in very experienced capable hands with James taking over”.

Scott’s departure leaves only player-manager Stuart Brown remaining from the inaugural title winning team.
