Are you a practicing Troll or a fully paid up member you member
You sad individual
How about ask questions. Is anyone hurt. Do you need emergency help. Is there any danger to life. In the good old days. Drive to the side of the road. Exchange details. But no let’s send the lot. Sorry to say.
Some vehicles automatically contact emergency services with location details if heavy deceleration is detected and/or the airbags are deployed.
So true, well said.
Imagine every minor collision on the mainland commanding such an OTT response.
Maybe it is just an island thing ?
Excellent point BB. The photos show minimal damage and so why did the Fire brigade turn up when there were no people trapped, and the ambulance service without knowing (or even perhaps knowing) that there was no need to attend? Given the limited ambulance availability situation that seems crackers, and the cost of the Fire Brigade turning out every time regardless of their need must be plenty. Or do they do it for the fun of rushing around with sirens going? I can’t believe there is no system in place for the dissemination of any accident report? Surely the police themselves would have known the situation from the original 999 and could have told the Fire and ambulance people they would not be needed? Or am I missing something?
Exchange details with out knowing one of the drivers could be drunk or drugged up, wonderful, if drink or drugs were a reason they get away with it to do it again….
You are so right Billpyke
