Although rumours have been circulating that this year’s Bestival was the last, organisers have confirmed that plans are already afoot for Bestival 2017 and Early Bird tickets are to go on sale this morning (Monday).
Once again Bestival made a huge positive economic impact in 2016, bringing over 40,000 people across the Solent to this year’s event, generating £4.3 million for the Island’s local economy and working alongside a variety of local companies, traders and suppliers.
That contribution to the economy is to continue next year and from 10:00 Bestival fans will be able to purchase their tickets for next September’s event through Ticketline / 0844 888 4410.
Rob da Bank says:
“Well, we went to The Future and it was well worth the trip… Another year of interstellar performances at Bestival from Major Lazer, Sean Paul, Bastille, The Cure, Glass Animals, Richie Hawtin, Years & Years, Fatboy Slim through to new blood SWMRS, Alice Jemima and Mura Masa.
“Where else can you get a meditation gong session, quaff bubbles in a double decker bus hot tub, go to an outrageous trannie party in the woods or enjoy mind-boggling shenanigans in Caravanserai, and nearly all of it baked in sunshine?
“With one headliner already booked for 2017, we hope you join the trip again”.
If you want to relive some of the highlights from Bestival’s Future and check out behind the scenes action head to Red Bull TV. Keep your eyes peeled for a Bestival Special on Channel 4 on Wednesday (21st September) at 00:05.
