A host of Police resources descended on Hunnyhill earlier this afternoon (Monday) after a disagreement erupted during the seizure of a car by a private firm.
Police were called at 15:06 to assist a private company who were seizing a car on Hunnyhill, Newport; the owner of which was unhappy about the seizure taking place.
Several officers attended the scene near Central Stores in attempts to difuse the volatile situation.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has since confirmed that all was in order.
No offences were committed.
