From an architecturally designed house with uninterrupted views of the English Channel to a former care home, 17 diverse properties on the Isle of Wight are to be auctioned in May.
They are among 168 lots listed across southern England by Clive Emson Auctioneers in the firm’s latest property and land auction.
The auction concludes on Thursday 1st May, with bidding live from 48 hours beforehand.
Among the highlights is Moonshine, a 4-bedroom detached house at 70A Leeson Road, Bonchurch, Ventnor, with a freehold guide price of £195,000+.
Rob Marchant, Island auctioneer, said:
“Unfortunately, in common with the other properties in the area, Moonshine was affected by a landslip in December 2023, losing part of its extensive grounds and suffering from some structural damage and this is reflected in the guide price.
“Moonshine retains an attractive plot with landscaped gardens to the south west of the house and affords stunning views.
“The dwelling itself provides beautiful living accommodation with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, set over three floors maximising the panoramic views over the English Channel.
“The beautiful mezzanine floor embraces the curved wooden ceiling and overlooks the open-plan living space. We anticipate keen interest because of its unique design and location.”
