Red funnel is a problem with their onboard toilets. We are stuck in Southampton
Will passengers receive a refund ….no toilets . Surely this is a health and safety issue
One assumed, possibly wrongly, that most in Wroxall were considered to think themselves middle class should they have an indoors water closet.
How does the weather affect the toilet facilities aboard the Red Funnel Ferry ??
No toilets on board an hour long journey.. Is that even allowed?
RF always happy to cancel due to technical difficulties (Captain’s Cappuccino machine not getting to temperature), but when an actual negative effect on people’s journey they run and just say sit tight and cross your legs
You can’t go for an hour without having a wee….you got a drippy tap mate lol
If there was a fixed link we could come and go as we like. In today’s busy society we can not afford to be delayed, cancelled etc life is to stressful enough, let’s get a fixed link and For all those who moan about it I would happily pay £50 return journey for a fixed link I’m not talking £3 or £3 toll road, And for all those people who say what about crime increase you’re not going to get some moron sitting in Southampton saying right who’s got £50 let’s go and commit a crime on the Isle of Wight ! It’s about time a lot of the island people who say no to the fixed Link woke up with the times and realise that the island might be beautiful but it will be soon dead if we don’t do something about it
@suspicious – you haven’t the first clue. – That is just it – you will get an increase in crime as there will be a much faster entrance and exit for any thieves – back on the mainland before first light, with no problems.
The ferries provide a natural barrier to unfettered traffic to the island and prevent the island being faced with issues that plague the mainland.
The island has been an island for millennia and has done ok so far.
If you want to be linked to the mainland – go and live there.
Leave now then. We like it without a flood of low life arriving here. We have more than enough now
I thought it was against the law to sail without toilitsand drinking water
Omg it’s a quick sail over I’m sure no ones going to die without a little water and no toilet for an hour !!
Honestly stop moaning if you don’t like it move to the mainland!!
As I’ve said before just stop moaning.
I am sure another letter from Seeley to his relation at RF will sort the problems with company that cannot maintain toilets or customer relations.
Reminds me of some long train journeys i have been on recently. No buffet and usually a toilet out of service. We pay huge amounts for public transport in the UK for substantial services and yet people still bang on about us being Great Britain thumbing our noses at the EU. They have mych cheaper, cleaner and more efficient public transport
Can’t afford to leave this **** island, wish I could, but can’t. Not allowed to talk about a fixed link as all the overners shipped here are half dead and don’t need to go to the mainland. They are all right jack, have loads of cash, sod the people born and bred here. As soon as I can I’m gone, last one off the island turn the lights out, leave the corpses alone to rot…
Islander driven out of home town…..
