Hundreds of football fans are set to descend on Cowes today (Saturday) as the town’s team take on Salisbury in the Wessex Premier League.
Salisbury are riding high at the top of the league and their success has generated huge support for their matches home and away.
They took almost 600 fans to their derby game against Bemerton Heath on Bank Holiday Monday.
Cowes Sports FC is advising its supporters to arrive early. Gates and the bar open at 13:00 for a 15:00 kick off.
Salisbury, managed by TV pundit and former Premier League player Steve Claridge, have won their last 14 league games. Cowes currently occupy 10th spot.
