COMPETITION: Islanders are being given the chance to take to the oche against the BDO Darts World Champion Scott ‘Scotty Dog’ Mitchell at an event at Newport Football Club this coming Friday.
The Pro-Am night has been arranged by Piddle Brewery from Dorset, who sponsor Scott Mitchell and is run by former Islander, Jon Lavers. The night will give two locals the chance to play against the 2015 world champion whilst also providing a great night of entertainment for spectators.
A 3-dart qualifier will be held on the night to determine which lucky pair will get to face Mitchell. Anyone wishing to take part must register on entry.
The event is being held in aid of the Isle of Wight Darts Association and will take place on Friday 17th July at Newport Football Club, Newport. Doors open 18:00 with the action underway from 19:30.

Standard tickets are priced at £10 with VIP tickets available at £25 each to include meet & greet, a meal and drink.
