This year’s Bestival Amphitheatre stage line-up has been revealed, bringing an even bigger haven of twisted treats, extraordinary spectacles & eclectic joys.
With smash hit Edinburgh Fringe shows, award-winning comedy, exclusive spoken word performances and enlightening talks, it’s mind-expanding fun for the more discerning festivalgoer and definitely something to seek out on your desert island trip this September.
Speaking about this year’s line-up, Bestival curator Rob da Bank said:
“If you go creeping about in the woods at Bestival-time you never know what you’ll find. We’ve got all sorts going on in there this year, not least at the Amphitheatre, which has got some brilliant entertainment, like my compadre Scroobius Pip who has pulled together another fantastic Satin Lizard Lounge line-up and the shockingly good Sh*tfaced Shakespeare amongst it all”.
The show line-up includes a Festival exclusive of Sh*tfaced Shakespeare, plus Captain Morgan and The Sands of Time; Every Brilliant Thing; I need a Doctor: Whosical; Milk Presents: Self Service; Save the Male and Lost boy sketches by Fatlip.
The Amphitheatre will also host comedy gigs from Twisted Loaf and So On and So Forth with spoken word from Satin Lizard Lounge; Kate Tempest; Scroobius Pip (pictured); Tim Clare and more.
Diving deeper into the 2014 event, Bestivalgoers will also see Roundhouse Poetry Collective and Soapbox Poets plus live interviews with Kate Tempest and Viv Albertine.
