IN PICTURES: Following a spell of rain overnight, the fairly warm and dry weather continued throughout today (Friday) for Day 2 of Bestival 2016.
The Cuban Brothers (pictured left) got the main stage crowd going in between the rain showers before Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora changed the tone with her captivating voice for a 45 minute set.
Chart toppers Years and Years welcomed in the sunshine for the rest of the day with a flurry of confetti before the sun set to reveal a wonderfully evolved Bestival site under the cover of darkness.
The first of 2 Night Parades saw the carnival spirit spread as a procession of light and sound made its way through the main arena. A second parade takes place on Sunday evening.
Festival revellers were able to step into the world of virtual reality today with the Samsung Hypercube. Donning a headset and earphones for many is the norm, but the Hypercube transports visitors to the 360 set of a Biffy Clyro performance.
Headliners Major Lazer (featured photo) brought the main stage to a close for Friday, drawing in massive crowds for their action-packed performance.
