Firefighters from Newport and Freshwater are in attendance at a combine harvester fire near Calbourne this afternoon (Tuesday).
Crews were called out just before 14:20 to reports of farming machinery on fire in a field off Middle Road.
The incident appears to be under control with 2 appliances and a water carrier on scene.
It’s the third time in 3 days that crews from Freshwater and Newport have been called out to the West Wight – with a field fire near Shalfleet on Sunday and a field fire at Brook last night.
