The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has introduced the planned changes to the car theory test from today (Monday).
Video clip scenarios will replace the written case study within the multiple choice section of the current theory test. Candidates will now be asked 3 questions based on a short video clip. This will make it more realistic and improve accessibility for all candidates.
Candidates will still be asked 50 multiple-choice questions in total and are expected to get the same pass mark and to be tested on the same content.
The learning materials have now been updated and the full set of official learning materials are available from the Safe Driving for Life website, where you may also practice with free video clips.
You can find out more about the changes to the car theory test on https://www.gov.uk/government/news/theory-test-changes-28-september-2020.

Why do they keep making it easier for people to pass… They should think of ways to make it more difficult, so we get a higher standard of drivers on this Island… not boy racers, or hedge hunters..
Why “young” islanders? It;s for everybody
The heading is rather discriminating. So if I’m elderly I won’t be affected?
