A team from Carisbrooke Rifle and Pistol Club finished top of the table in the Central Southern England Field Target Winter League Series. The team – based out of Borthwood Farm in Alverstone – won all 7 rounds of the competition held at venues across the South. Andy Winch, Rob Eames, Barry Warren, Allan Dyke, Dave Hollingdale, Si Evans and Richard Green romped to victory, finishing with a 60-target lead over 2nd place. This 1st-place finish follows a 3rd-place finish in this same competition last year, as previously reported by Island Echo. Club membership is now open to all shooters. Click here to find out more.
