Wight Eagles FC have secured not just 1 but 2 new sponsors for 2024 season. The club has announced that Wightlink is to be their travel sponsor, with the club chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the cross-Solent travel operators sponsorship programme. Elsewhere, Island-business RENO DRAIN are to sponsor the club as the match-day & training Sponsor for 2024. Chairman Dan Verstraeten, has said:
“I would like to thank all of our sponsors who have helped and donated to this club over the last 4 years. “These New Sponsors are a massive deal to us as a club, but also it means the future of girls and women’s football will carry on for years to come. “Having Wightlink on board is massive for us as we are a self-funded club with over 120 players across our senior and academy teams. With 6 teams playing Hampshire football and on average 2-3 teams travelling away every weekend, their support will be a massive help to us. “I want to give a big Shout out to Wight Fibre who have been our main sponsor for 3 years now and with no hesitation, always sponsor our home kits. “I think it shows that Wight Eagles has the backing of not just the local community, but also of Island businesses who believe this club is making a difference to the lives of all our players. “Hard work pays off and I’m so glad after 4 years we are where we are. The dream is to go even bigger.”
