The date has been set for the next Island Speedway fans forum, hosted by DJ and Speedway Presenter Chris Popple.
The event will take place from 19:00 on Thursday 10th September at the Premier Lounge, Smallbrook Stadium and will give supporters of the newly-named Wight Warriors to get up-to-date with the latest developments and have their chance to interact with the management team.
Warriors Operations Director, Martin Widaman said:
“The event will be an ideal opportunity for fans to have a look at and hear of the progress we have made so far first hand as well as receiving an update on the next stages of the clubs return and meet some more of our sponsors. Our last forum was very well supported by people who live both on and off the Island and we very hope to see you another big attendance on the 10th”.
The club’s Commercial Director Barry Bishop commented:
“I cannot wait to update everyone on our progress and to introduce Angie Cooper, our recently appointed Sponsor and Hospitality manager. I hope that our presentation will be along the lines of the last one only this time to have sponsors with us during the event instead of being on the phone.
“We have come a long way since the first forum we held and Martin and his team are rightly proud of the progress made on the track renovations as those attending this Forum will see first hand, and we look forward to welcoming many existing and new fans to the event.
“There will be a further opportunity to join the ‘Wall of Honour’ and to receive nominations for various roles at the club that will need to be filled. Additionally for Sponsorship opportunities, please come along and see Angie or I to discuss the host of sponsorship packages available”.
