Visit Isle of Wight is encouraging tourism and hospitality businesses across the Island to submit entries to this year’s Beautiful South Awards for Excellence, celebrating the very best of the local visitor economy.
The awards recognise excellence across a wide range of categories, from accommodation and attractions to experiences, food and drink, and customer service.
Island businesses have a strong track record in the awards, with recent years seeing recognition for organisations including East Afton Farmhouse, Luccombe Hotels, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, and The Royal Hotel alongside a number of other shortlisted and commended entries.
To support businesses looking to enter, Beautiful South will be hosting a dedicated workshop, designed to guide applicants through the process and help them create strong, compelling submissions – particularly for those entering for the first time.
Dominic Wray, Chief Executive of Visit Isle of Wight, said:
“We know there are incredible businesses across the Island delivering outstanding experiences every day. These awards are a fantastic opportunity to showcase that on a regional stage.
“Island businesses have performed strongly in previous years, and we’d love to see that continue. Whether you’ve entered before or are considering it for the first time, this is a great opportunity to gain recognition and raise your profile.”
The Beautiful South Awards are widely recognised as a mark of quality and can significantly raise a business’s profile, helping to build trust with customers and open up new opportunities.
Visit Isle of Wight is keen to see strong Island representation, with multiple businesses recognised on the night.

Let’s embarrass our council much more, as it not all rose coloured spectacles for businesses here.
And the most expensive ferry fares in the world, not
to mention 24/7 parking charges.
Where else do you have to pay a nightly parking
charge of £2
