Viv Tomlinson and Martyn Phillips have won the Cheverton Trophy after coming out on top in a closely fought competition at Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club.
A total of 12 couples took to the fairway on Sunday (2nd August) for the club’s annual mixed foursomes Stableford competition.
Tomlinson and Phillips secured the trophy with an impressive score of 42 points.
Captains Dorian Cobb and Vicki Guildford finished as runners-up with 40 points, edging Jane and Bob Wilson on countback after they also recorded 40 points.
