Ryde’s much-loved free mini-festival Ticket to Ryde is back on the seafront this August Bank Holiday, promising 2 full days of live music, stalls, food and family fun.
Taking place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August, the event coincides with the International Scooter Rally and is now in its 11th year. Once again, it will showcase some of the best Isle of Wight bands alongside a bumper 60s playlist for scooter fans.
The free-to-attend festival features an impressive line-up including Scooted & Booted Sound System, Real Deadringer – The Meat Loaf Show, Heidi Cullerne, Emellia, SheBop, Island Vibe, Hashtag, High School Never Ends, Steve Love’s Island Songs and more. With everything from ska and reggae to rock, tribute acts and local originals, there’s something for every taste.
Alongside the music, visitors can browse Island traders, enjoy traditional market stalls, and sample a wide variety of food. A real ale bar will be provided by Island Ales, with plenty of options catering to different diets. Kids’ activities and entertainment ensure the whole family can get involved.
On-stage entertainment runs from 11:30–20:00 each day, with food and market stalls opening from 10:00. BBC Radio Solent will also be broadcasting live from the event between 10:00 and 14:00 on Saturday.

Ticket to Ryde is a community-driven event organised by Jack Up Events in partnership with Ryde Town Council. As well as bringing people together, it helps raise funds for the MS Society Isle of Wight, supporting those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.
Admission is completely free. More details and the full performance schedule can be found at jackupevents.co.uk or via Ticket to Ryde’s social media pages.
