Isle of Wight darts youngster Reggie Woodmore will represent England after producing a string of impressive victories to qualify for the JDC Academy Nations Cup.
Reggie booked his place in the England youth darts team with a dominant display at the JDC Academy Nations Cup qualifiers.
The talented youngster began his campaign with a convincing 4-0 victory over Aaron Hustwaite before following it up with a 4-1 win against Harry Childs.
He then sealed his England call-up with an impressive 5-2 victory over Jenson Macey, securing his place in the 12-player squad.
‘Reg the Ledge’ will now travel to Scotland in August to represent England at the 2026 JDC Academy Nations Cup – one of the biggest international competitions in junior darts.
JDC England announced the squad over the weekend, congratulating all 12 players selected to wear the England shirt.
In announcing the team, JDC England said:
“To every player that earned their place – congratulations.
“Pulling on an England shirt is something very few people ever get the opportunity to do. It represents the countless hours of practice, the sacrifices, the dedication, and the belief you’ve shown to earn your place.
“Wear that shirt with pride, play with passion, and enjoy every single moment. You haven’t just earned a place in a team – you’ve earned the chance to represent your country on the international stage.
“On behalf of everyone involved with JDC England, we couldn’t be prouder.”
Reggie will now turn his attention to the tournament in Scotland, where he will proudly represent both England and the Isle of Wight on the international junior darts stage.
