Back in the old days many shops had security
to deter / prevent such acts.
Back in the old days, thieving scum would have got their fingers broken, if that was to happen now, they would go and claim more benefits because they can’t carry out the lives they are used to leading
Times have changed.
Nowdays there are not enough jobs for
everyone, even many persons working
visit food banks or claim universal credit
due to low wages and high inflation etc
The gap between rich and poor is widening.
