The Isle of Wight Ploughing Match Committee has donated £2,000 to Mountbatten Isle of Wight following this year’s annual event.
The generous donation was raised during the Isle of Wight Ploughing Match, which took place on 19th September, with the funds handed over to the hospice by members of the committee.
The presentation saw President Mike Morris and Chairman John Stallard joined by Deputy President Rachel Holmes as they handed over the cheque to Lauretta Blake, from Mountbatten’s fundraising team.
The committee thanked everyone who supported this year’s event, including trade stand holders, sponsors, ploughmen and members of the public.
