Will your creative photography skills help Mountbatten Isle of Wight raise vital funds? The search is on for beautiful local images to appear on Mountbatten’s 2026 calendars and diaries.
The sale of diaries and calendars helps ensure Mountbatten’s expert staff continue to support families facing some of the most challenging times of their lives.
The submission deadline is short and there are some requirements when it comes to quality, to ensure photos look their best when they are reproduced.
Image requirements and how to submit your photo:
• Photos must be of a resolution high enough to allow them to be sized up
• They can cover subject but must have been taken on the Isle of Wight
• Photo submissions must be landscape for the calendars and portrait for the diaries, and may be cropped to size
• They will be reproduced at a maximum of 166mm x 245mm @ 300dpi for the calendars
Entries close at midnight on 24th January 2025. Put ‘Calendar 2026’ in the subject line and include some contact details in an email to [email protected].
Mountbatten Isle of Wight will contact you by the end of March to tell you if your photo has been chosen. Photographs chosen for next year’s calendar, which will be on sale across the Island in Mountbatten’s 11 shops and warehouse, will be used with a credit.
2025’s calendar is currently on sale and features work by 12 Isle of Wight photographers, including Ian Groves, Annette Hickman, Lee Hodges, Steve France, Pauleena Shepard, Colleen Shaw, Dave Thompson, Sue Blow, Josh Thomas, Patrick White, Fiona Bannister, Katie Crocker.
