Cross-Solent travel is being affected as the stormy weather moves in, with cancellations on Hovertravel’s Ryde to Southsea service this afternoon (Thursday).
Adverse conditions have led to the suspension of Hovertravel’s service with an update expected at 16:15. Customers are being told that tickets are being accepted on Wightlink’s Fastcat service.
It comes ahead of a period of stormy weather for the Isle of Wight with a yellow weather warning in force throughout tomorrow.
Red Funnel says it is highly probable their Red Jet and Vehicle Ferry services may encounter disruption tomorrow morning.
Wightlink says all of their services are running to timetable.
