Isle of Wight residents can look forward to even more delivery choice this Christmas, as one of the UK’s largest delivery companies brings its ParcelShop services to the Island for the first time.
Evri, the UK’s premier parcel delivery company, has announced the launch of its services in 2 shops in Newport, as part of a wider roll out that will extend to 12 locations in total by mid-November.
With services now live at both Asda Superstore, St George’s Way, and Farnsworth’s Newsagents, St James Street, today’s news marks the first time Evri
ParcelShops have been available on the island, giving residents even more choice and convenience when sending, receiving and returning parcels.
As part of the wider roll out, Evri will also introduce its lockers to the Island for the first time, providing 24/7 access to its services via its technology-leading units for even greater convenience.
Customers using Evri ParcelShops can send and return parcels at a convenient local location, providing greater flexibility alongside Evri’s home delivery service.
Henry Cartwright, Director of ParcelShops and lockers at Evri, said:
“We’re really pleased to be bringing our ParcelShop network to the Isle of Wight for the first time.
“We want sending, receiving and returning a parcel with Evri to be as convenient as possible, and having more locations close to where people live, work and shop is a really important part of that, especially in some of the UK’s more remote locations.
“These first ParcelShops are just the beginning with plans to expand our presence across the island with more ParcelShops and lockers, giving Islanders even greater choice over how and where they use Evri.”

Seriously! Evri over here are utterly shocking!
I think you take things to the parcel shops yourself and collect them?!!
