A man from London has been given a community resolution following an incident in Shanklin yesterday (Saturday).
An emergency call was received by Hampshire Constabulary at approximately 16:00 reporting an assault which had taken place on Shanklin Esplanade.
Several officers attended the restaurant in which the incident had taken place.
A man from London was handed a community resolution by officers, and no injuries were sustained by the involved parties.
