HDARADinner2013ClubFourteen members of Wightlink-sponsored Ryde Rowing Club attended the Hants & Dorset Amateur Rowing Associations Annual Presentation Dinner on Saturday.

At the glitz and glam event, held at the Novotel in Southampton, the club collected another trophy to add to this seasons haul.

The Association President, Ian Hutchings, accompanied by other executives including the Association Secretary Steve Bull, from Ryde, presented the club’s Men’s Coastal Junior Fours of Stephen Johnson, Adam Edwards, Ollie Gove and James Cleary with cox Sam Brading with the Associations Championship Trophy and individual medals- the 42nd Hants & Dorset Championship the Club has won since its first in 1963.

HDARADinnerJunCrew2As dictated by tradition when an Association Club wins a South Coast Championship, the trophy also won by the crew was on display at the Dinner.
