A series of cancellations have been announced on the Red Jet service between Cowes and Southampton this afternoon (Monday).
The cross-Solent operator says that its 16:15 departure from Southampton and the 16:55 from Cowes have both been cancelled due to a mechanical fault.
It is not yet known whether any further cancellations will follow, but disruption to commuters is expected.
UPDATE @ 17:40 – The 17:35 from Southampton and the 18:15 from Cowes have now also been cancelled due to the mechanical fault.
