Police are trying to trace a man who bought a stolen Boardman Road Sports Bike from a property on the Pan Estate, Newport on Sunday.
The bike had been advertised on Wightbay and was sold for £50. The person who bought it wouldn’t have known but it was stolen.
Hampshire Constabulary are now attempting to return the bike to its rightful owner and are asking the person who bought it to get in contact with them. They were driving a silver Ford Focus Estate at the time.
A youth has been interviewed about the theft.
If you know who bought the bike get in touch with Police Staff Investigator, Tracey Randle-Jolliffe at Newport CID on 101.
