Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Witness? More like witless,. Still it might have been a medical episode, it was the road, it was a problem with the car. They walk and drive amongst us. have a nice safe day.
After a few weeks of quiet roads, I see we are back to our appalling standards of driving. Once again the emergency services are being called to one incident after another. I’d like to suggest to Island Echo that you produce a ‘monthly roundup’ naming and shaming all the idiots who make our roads so hazardous.
In English it is ‘licence’. Only Americans spell it with an ‘s’.
Don’t be pedantic!
single vehicle collison – FFS …collision with what – did the car just spontaneously flip over for no reason. I presume the police didn’t tell island echo, because they haven’t worked that out yet.
A 22-year-old man from Newport was subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink driving, driving without a license, taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, being a complete tosser, having zero credibility, devoid of any common sense and an intelligence level below the basic expectation of someone in charge of a car.
At least you gave the real story
thanks rog!!
Just a typical tosser then.
Bloody ‘ell back to ‘bad driving’ normal on the IOW! Well, gives the police a change from lockdown rules being broken I suppose.
Seriously! the standard of driving on the island is shocking.. I’ve been driving 35 years (all over the UK) without a single point on my license and one collision in 1997 that wasn’t attributed to me. Honestly the reckless nature of some people is seriously worrying.
Sounds like another case of foot cramp to me
So many morons on one small island.
