Investigations are underway following the theft of tools from a site in Cowes over the weekend. Officers from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to the scene on Bath Road in Cowes earlier this morning (Monday) after tradesmen arrived on site to find that their tools had been taken. Among the items pinched were plumbing bags full of tools, copper fittings, 2 Makita radios, 10+ Makita batteries, chargers, impact drills, chop saws and many more. Police visited the scene earlier this morning to carry out inquiries into just how the items were stolen. A social media post urging people to keep an eye out for any tools for sale has been shared over 150 times. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, anyone with information should contact Police quoting 44240177975.
