Forecasters are warning of another blanket of fog that is set to sweep across the Isle of Wight tonight and into Friday morning.
IW Met Service issued a yellow weather warning overnight but have now extended that warning until 13:00 tomorrow afternoon, warning of extremely poor visibility leading to hazardous conditions on the roads.
Further fog banks are likely to develop as we move into the evening. At first, the fog will mostly be in rural parts but will become much more widespread later in the night with some of the fog becoming extremely dense in places.
Tomorrow morning will see rather widespread foggy conditions with the potential to linger throughout the day.
Fog caused significant issues for Red Funnel this morning with 2-hour delays and the suspension of the Red Jet service. Further travel disruption is anticipated for tomorrow.
