West Wight Alpacas is set to close its doors for the final time this weekend, bringing an end to 14 years of welcoming visitors to the popular attraction in Wellow.
The farm park, which opened in 2012, will welcome visitors for the last time on Sunday 1st November, with owners Neil and Michelle preparing to say goodbye after more than a decade.
Over the years, the pair have dedicated themselves to the farm, sharing their love of alpacas and llamas with visitors and helping families create lasting memories.
With just 2 days remaining, the West Wight Alpacas team is encouraging Islanders and visitors to make one final trip to the attraction, meet the animals and share their memories.
In a heartfelt farewell message, the team said:
“After 14 wonderful years, West Wight Alpacas will close its doors as a farm park for the very last time on Sunday 1st November.
“Come and say goodbye to our beautiful animals, share your memories and show Neil and Michelle just how much West Wight Alpacas has meant to you.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who has supported us over the last 14 years. We will miss you all dearly.”
The farm park will be open from 10:00-16:00 on both Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November, giving visitors one final opportunity to enjoy the attraction. The team hopes to fill the farm with happy faces for its final weekend, bringing 14 years of memories to a fitting close.
The farewell message concluded:
“One last visit. One last memory. One final goodbye.”
