Police have arrested a 41-year-old Ventnor man on suspicion of theft after £18,000 worth of watches were stolen from Godshill earlier this month.
A Cartier Tank, a Longines and two Rolex Datejust watches were stolen from the property between Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th January. The total value of the watches is more than £18,000.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who has seen these watches since they were stolen to come forward to assist with the investigation.
The unnamed 41-year-old has been bailed pending further enquiries.
