The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have been mobilised to deal with flooding within a property in Newchurch tonight (Thursday).
A fire appliance from Newport and the Incident Support Unit (ISU) from East Cowes have both been mobilised to the village.
The ISU carries a variety of submersible pumping equipment that can be deployed into buildings that can either be run by their portable generator our by the fire appliance.
Crews were called at 22:26.
A flood warning was issued by the Environment Agency for Langbridge and Alverstone on the Eastern Yar earlier on today.
