Forecasters are predicting sunny and warmer weather for this year’s Isle of Wight Festival, but there is a risk of the odd shower here and there too. You’ll want to pack your shorts but perhaps a light coat too as the 4-day event looks set to be a mixed bag when it comes to the weather, with highs of between 16 and 21c. IW Met Service has published its special festival forecast, predicting that the recent cool weather will fizzle out slightly – but it won’t be a scorcher as we’ve seen in Junes gone by. When the gates open on Thursday it will be a day of hazy sunshine, with cloudier periods at times. It will feel a fairly hot day with temperatures of between 19-21c with little wind. However, there is a risk of rain overnight. On Friday, when the festival gets underway properly, revellers will note a fresher, breezy day with some rain at first. Broken cloud will follow, along with the odd shower, as the day progresses. Temperatures will be lower at 17-19c with a stronger wind of up to 36mph. Saturday may be a little sunnier but again there will be the odd shower to start the day. It will, on the whole, be a generally bright day with cloud and occasional sunny spells. Temperatures will be sitting at just 16-18c, with winds of between 15-26mph. A fine, dry day will round off 2024’s festival on Sunday, with good sunny spells and broken cloud. Temperatures will rise again to between 19-21c with winds of 8-16mph.

No doubt what ever the weather the poor children will continue to be ripped off.. £10 for a burger ? … far out man..
And it’s not as big as a happy meal burger. Not fault of burger seller as they are charged thousands to have pitch. Other events allow food stalls free and so prices are reasonable. Festival is all about money, making loads of money,it’s not them being nice giving music.
Free crap fries from Maccie Ds apparently.
Vendors pay high rents at festivals & gets passed to the consumer
All the mainland companies will be rubbing their hands together
selling a load of expensive junk food.
Come on Sh!telink, stop the boats.
