Sheila Richard and Jo Wright carded a nett 66 to win the annual Afton Trophies at Freshwater Bay Golf Club.
Freshwater Bay Golf Club hosted the annual Afton Trophies on Thursday, with competitors enjoying near-perfect conditions for the drawn foursomes medal competition.
Glorious sunshine, little or no wind and dry fairways made for an enjoyable day, rewarding those who were able to keep the ball straight.
Sheila Richard and Jo Wright claimed victory after carding a nett 66.
Second place went to Kathlyn Acklam and Ann Smith on nett 69 after winning on countback from Jackie Evitts and Carole Pierce, who finished with the same score.
