Beachfield Road in Sandown has been closed once again due to what Island Roads are calling a collapse of the carriageway.
The busy one-way road has been closed from its junction with Bay View Close to The Broadway.
Southern Vectis says that Routes 2, 3, 8 towards Newport will be diverting via Sandown High Street, Albert Street, Victoria Road, Avenue Road and the full length of the Broadway.
The road has already been closed once or twice this year, as well as in October last year.
UPDATE @ 14:35 – Beachfield Road has now been reopened.
