COLLISION NEAR ALDI PROMPTS EMERGENCY SERVICE RESPONSE TO COWES

Emergency services are responding to reports of a road traffic collision near ALDI in Cowes this morning (Thursday).

Police, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service have all rushed to the scene outside the discount supermarket.

It’s understood that a car and a motorcycle have been involved in the incident.

The road is currently said to be blocked as emergency crews tend to those involved.

UPDATE @ 12:10 – The incident has now been cleared and traffic is able to flow freely in the area.

It is understood that no major injuries have been sustained by either party as a result of the collision.

Emergency teams have now stood down from the incident.

I hope not but YES because of terrible driving and no respect for other road users
