Co-operative Funeralcare will be hosting its annual Christmas Memorial Service next week, with this year’s event set to support the Isle of Wight Food Bank.
The service will take place on Tuesday 2nd December at 18:30 at Lake Funeralcare, located on The Fairway in Sandown.
A spokesperson for the team has said:
“This annual event offers a space to honour and remember loved ones during the festive season. Guests will be invited to place a personal memorial message on our Christmas Tree, creating a moment of reflection and togetherness.”
The evening will include musical performances from the Methodist Ukulele Group and light refreshments will be served to create a warm, seasonal atmosphere.
Businesses from across the Isle of Wight have donated raffle prizes such as gift vouchers and food and drink items.
Funds raised through the raffle will go directly to the Isle of Wight Food Bank to support individuals and families facing hardship this winter.
The team at Co-operative Funeralcare are encouraging residents to join them for the service, which brings the community together for both remembrance and giving.
