The discovery of a body prompted a police response to Gurnard yesterday morning (Saturday).
At least 4 police units responded to Marsh Road after a report was received by a member of the public at 08:49.
Police officers from Hampshire Constabulary gathered in the vicinity of the former Little Gloster restaurant before confirming that the discovery which had been made was indeed the body of a man in his 20’s.
Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed to Island Echo that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
