A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We encourage the public to continue to provide information to us about suspected drug related activity so we can build a stronger picture of what is taking place.
“If you have any information about drug dealing in your area, please call us on 101”.
Well done the policing team keep this up
Dads taxi is a drug dealer, well done to our police…I wonder what his kids are going to be like?.
The police didn’t want to know when they were called about the smell of cannabis continually coming in from the neighbouring house a few years ago. The woman police officer just said there was no law against someone smoking cannabis in the privacy of their home, but then you hear about something unrelated and the police smelling cannabis inside a property somewhere and they arrest the person for possession, so how is anyone suppose to know if it’s right or not? If you reported it each time you smelt it anyway, you’d be never off the phone.
Good job by the police, well done, however it is how the courts deal with these low life that is the problem, suspended sentence, small fine etc etc clearly is no deterrent.
There are plenty more out there who will continue to serve those willing to pay, and we all pay the price in many different ways.
Fines are no deterrent to dealers. They sell more to pay the fine .
They need custodial sentences. We have an empty prison !
Keep that rubbish off our Island & also the scum who sell it, hefty fine should be given , the car crushed too!
That photograph was taken outside the former Island residence of 1930s crooner Al Bowlly. I attended many parties there, in my youth, and we never took drugs. We wouldn’t have known how to, we were all too drunk. Regards, Lady Dunstanding.
