Isle of Wight Triathlon Club triathlete, Katie Bunn, has been selected to represent the county of Hampshire in the inter counties cross country.
12-year-old Katie left her goggles and bike behind and competed in the recent Bournemouth cross country as part of her winter training plan. Katie excelled and from her performance was selected to represent Hampshire in the inter counties match in Croydon this coming Saturday (11th December).
The club’s coaching team have said:
“It is a credit to Katie with her hard work, not only at club sessions, but with her family that she has been selected for Hampshire and we know she will do herself and our club proud”
