Police have successfully located a woman in Freshwater after concerns were raised for her welfare earlier this afternoon (Wednesday).
Officers were deployed to the Tennyson area of the West Wight at around 13:30, with several units responding to the alert.
The assistance of HM Coastguard was requested shortly before 14:00 with teams from The Needles and Ventnor tasked to assist with the urgent search.
It has now been confirmed by Hampshire Constabulary that the woman has been successfully located.
Emergency teams are standing down from the incident.
