Credit – Christopher JacksonWorks on the brand-new kiosk at the FastCat terminal on Ryde Pier have been completed. The new-look facilities feature wooden panelling on the exterior and a slate-style roof, offering a more contemporary look than what stood in the same spot before. It is understood that a range of hot and cold beverages are on offer as well as snacks and cakes. This latest investment into facilities at the Ryde Pier Head terminal has been finished just before works to install check-in gates are to get underway.
In usual Wight link tradition, prices will probably be 50% higher than anywhere else. You can always check first though. I think I could wait and get something elsewhere and save money. Better still, have a coffee and Choccy biscuit at home and it’ll be even cheaper!
Yes it was much better when you could sit looking out facing the sea with the Costa coffee bar supplying toasted sandwiches & coffee. In Summer you could sit outside. I how they bring outside seating back

Will they still be serving luke warm coffee like the last kiosk they had (refused to swap it) I won’t be buying any more hot or cold drink from them.

Blimey, why did it take so long? It’s not exactly Buckingham palace is it! Extortionate prices no doubt, why all the fuss we only to buy a cup of coffee, not liquid gold from the Taj Mahal
