Firefighters from Ryde and Shanklin have responded to a washing machine fire at a property in Sandown this lunchtime (Saturday).
2 appliances and an officer were mobilised to The Broadway at 12:35, but the fire was out upon their arrival.
The immediate area surrounding the appliance has been checked and the scene made safe.
It’s the second time fire crews have been called to Sandown today. Ryde and Shanklin responded to a road traffic collision on Carter Street at 07:30 this morning.
