The Tritone Singers will bring festive cheer to Ryde next month with their annual Christmas Concert, taking place at Garfield Road Methodist Church on Saturday 13th December at 19:00.
Directed by Richard Wilkins, the concert will feature a mixture of well-known and lesser-known carols, performed both a cappella and with keyboard accompaniment by Michele Brock.
Harpist Theresa Ellis will also join the ensemble for a special performance of As Dew in Aprille from Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, as well as a Gaelic setting of That Night in Bethlehem, performed by the female voices of the group.
The evening will include carols for audience participation and possibly a festive singing game, with refreshments available during the interval.
