Traffic is delayed heading in and out of Newport as a result of a 2-car collision on Fairlee Road this afternoon (Tuesday).
1 vehicle is reported to have crashed into the rear of another at the turning for Island Harbour at Binfield.
The incident is causing delays in the area.
No one is thought to be trapped or seriously injured.
UPDATE @ 16:23 – Southern Vectis are reporting that a total of 4 vehicles are involved in the incident, which is causing delays to their services in and out of Newport.
UPDATE @ 16:58 – Police have confirmed that they were called to a 3 car collision at 16:17.
Officers have now left the scene.
