The Island’s premier live music venue is continuing its run of fantastic shows with the visit of chart-topping band The Hoosiers.
Known for their catchy melodies and recognisable sound, The Hoosiers rose to fame with hits like ‘Goodbye Mr A’ and ‘Worried About Ray’, which continue to dominate airwaves and playlists around the world.
The British pop band, consisting of founding members Al and Irwin, will be performing a stripped back set that is sure to provide endless opportunities for sing-alongs.
A spokesperson for Strings has said:
“These songs are so recognisable and have a place in pop music history. We are thrilled to have them bringing this performance to our venue and we’re sure it will be one to remember”.
Tickets for the band’s appearance at Strings Bar & Venue on Friday 27th September are extremely limited, with only a handful remaining. These can be purchased at www.stringsbarandvenue.com.
This is a 16+ event and doors will open at 19:30. Support comes from local singer-songwriter Muffy.
